?The kids today are more into video games than in the past,? Taylor said. ?In the past, the kids were doing more physical activities.?

The activities are for kids ages 4 and older. Local area coaches have joined with LMHF to instruct the kids in football, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball and golf. there also will be a step clinic and a fitness boot camp.

Some of the people leading the activities include former NFL player Ronnie Ghent; former MLB player and current Kathleen baseball coach Alan Mills; Bartow basketball coach Terrence McGriff and former Florida Southern basketball standout Corey Tumer.

There will be other games, contests and prizes throughout the day.
