The School of Education and Social Science is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to a Chair of Community Leadership and Active Citizenship. You will be working within the Centre for Volunteering and Community Leadership, which has an excellent reputation in managing large scale projects in the Third Sector, in both the UK and internationally, and working extensively with a range of voluntary groups, charities and government agencies.
The successful applicant will have a well-established international profile, as demonstrated by an excellent record of research driven publications, evidence of significant grant capture and superb project management skills. You will be expected to lead a team of researchers, significantly enhancing the research profile of the Centre.
