PRESIDENT SULAIMAN: TOURISM AMBASSADOR OF MEXICO

World Boxing Council President Dr. Jose Sulaiman was awarded the appointment of ?Tourism Ambassador of Mexico? by the Mexican government on September 27 in Mazatlan, Sinaloa. The President of the Mexican Republic, Felipe Calderon Hinojosa, presented the honor, which was presented to others, as well.

The presentation was part of the celebration of the International Day of Tourism (Year of Tourism in Mexico 2011) at the port of Mazatlan, and was also attended by several other high-ranking government officials.

The appointment presented by President Calderon Hinojosa was a diploma signed by the Tourism Minister, Gloria Guevara Manzo, on the day when the campaign ?Mexico Siente? (Mexico Feels) was launched. The campaign contains the elements to attract more foreign tourists to Mexico. President Calderon Hinojosa said, ?Mexico is a country full of colors, flavors, and music. It is my greatest passion and my raison d??tre.?
